Jane’s Table (sold)
Jane is a great friend of mine and a wonderful advocate for the arts here in the town of Sarasota Florida. Recently she gave me a bag of old chipped and broken crockery, much of which had sentimental family value and with it she gave me an old garden table with four still steady legs on it. The result was a sort of rebirth of the old crockery into a useful piece of patio furniture, that will last a long time.
10 Guitars Winter Garden Music Festival
The lovely city of Winter Garden on the shores of Lake Appopka in Florida is bringing some street art to it's annual music festival. 10 guitar sculptures by local artists are being placed around the town and will be auctioned online during the festival to support the arts. Vase
A glass vase decked with mosaic. Made from stained glass. Glass beads, cut ceramic tile. Finished with heavy polymer grout. Dimensions: 16"
Elegance
This is a plaster cast of a womans head and elongated neck enhanced with exotic ceramic mosaic and metalic paint. Dimensions: 28"
Shouk
This piece is called Shouk as the exotic tile was found in the Armenian section of the great cavernous shouk in Jerusalem. The perimeter is formed from sections of travertine resembling the stonework of the ancient walled city itself. Dimensions: 12" x 32"
Humu Humu
An ornamental piece entitled, "Humu Humu" the short name for Hawaii's mysterious Humuhumunukunukuapuaa fish. Broken and carved ceramic tile. Dimensions: 24"x 14"
Seriously Cool Mailbox
This mosaic mailbox stand consists of backer board over a raw timber stand. The mosaic is made of empty beer bottles, cut and broken ceramic tile, and glass beads. As the finishing touches were being added some youthful neighbors walking their dog declared that it was a "Seriously cool mailbox" We would love to make one for you.
Buena Vista
This is an ornamental piece entitled, "Buena Vista". Made from Travertine and Mexican tile as an ornamental surface or wall hanging. Framed, grouted and sealed. Dimensions: 16" x 16"
Bird Bath

This piece is simply a mosaic enhanced "Bird Bath" featuring broken ceramic tile, iridescent stained glass, broken pool tile, glass beads and other ornamental tiles. It is a favorite bathing spot of at least one family of Cardinals.
